Title: Prayers for Peace

Listening to Imam Muda Asyraf's reciting this doa', especially with that melodious tune that he carries in this doa, reminds me of my tarannum lessons. There is nothing that I could ever ask for, except to be able to recite the Quran with perfect tajweed, and good tonation.

Allahumma antas-salaam,

wa minkas-salaam,

wa ilaika yaudus-salaam,

fahaiyyina rabbana bis-salaam,

wa adkhilna daras-salaam,

tabarakta rabbana wa-ta'alaita,

ya dzal jalali wal ikram

O God, You are the Peace.

The everlasting peace comes from You, & it returns to You.

O our Sustainer, grant us the life of true peace, & enter us into the abode of Peace.
O Glorious & Bounteous One, indeed You are the blessed, and the majestic one.
