Why I Wear Hijab

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
Assalamualaikum

Title: Why I Wear Hijab

O Muslimahs
You are a symbol of true Islam.
You are a picture of Islam.
You represent Muslims from near & far.
You are a sign for the world to read.
You look lovely with the hijab.
& you're beautiful, just the way you are.

When asked about her hijab by journalists and how it is not proportionate with her level of intellect and education, this lady replied:

Man in the early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved, he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has ever achieved, and it is not regressive. It’s The removal of clothes again that is regressive back to ancient times. -  Noble Laurette from Yemen, Tawakul Karman

That was an awesome reply! I know of some sisters who are hijab-ed, but for some reason, they feel so discouraged in society and they feel sooo self-conscious of themselves. Don't be. O sisters, just remember that the light of Nur that shines on your face can't be replaced by face powder. The glow of faith in your eyes can't be replicated by artificial contact lenses. And the will to make sacrifices for Allah, outweighs the willing sacrifices we make for this society. If a beautiful women is a jewel, a righteous women is a treasure. <3
