Title: Al-Quran

Sometimes, you just need a little time to yourself with the Al-Quran in your hand, tears in your eyes, and Allah in your heart. And don't let a day pass, without looking into the glorious Al-Quran. This is something that I have been trying to hold on to, for the past few weeks. Lately, I've been really busy with school assignments that I hardly have the time to recite the Al-Quran. So I thought, ah I shall leave the Quranic reading for later. And as much as I thought that that could wait, I found this.

It's an amazing video. It's a powerful part of a khutbah, conducted by Sheikh Muhammad Sa'eed Raslaan (hafidahullaah). The first few seconds of the video made me shiver in fear, because I realised just how soooo wrong it was for me, to have left the Quran behind. It was so foolish of me, to recite the Quran, only when I have the time to. In this khutbah (lecture), this Sheikh talks about those who don't read the Quran. It was like a knock on the head. May we all benefit from this lecture insyaAllah.
