I'm Strong

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
Assalamualaikum

Title: I'm strong

I am stressed & I am exhausted. Oh I definitely need a break. There have been instances when I feel like just giving up on everything, admit defeat, and accept failure. But am I going to give up? No. Because I know that I am strong enough, to brave all the obstacles through. When I am tired,  I'd turn to Him to give me strength. When I am stressed, I do my zikrullahs to keep me calm. I just want to be able to live up to this phrase; Islam is a way of life.

I need to come up with a proper time management plan soon. I'm like always so busy that I can't even afford the time to meet-up with old mates for a cup of coffee at Starbucks, or go catch a movie or something because there is just so many things that I have to do. I've got 4 huge school projects to deal with, for this semester, mind you! But insyaAllah, all will be well!

It's been a hectic week. It's 12:48am, and I've yet to get any sleep. I had totally forgotten that it is already Saturday; and that I've got a class to teach at Darul Makmur later in the morning. I'll have to be there by 7.45am and class will only end sometime at 10.45am. From Darul Makmur, I'll then have to rush all the way back home, to meet my friends who will be coming over to my house, to work on our school project. That, definitely is going to take hours and upon completion of the project discussion, I have to rush all the way back to Yishun, to attend a cousin's engagement ceremony. A crazy Saturday today shall be. To tone the stress level down, I'll keep my level of zikir going high, for throughout the whole day.

Allah, I am so sleepy. & I've just reached home from Pergas's class at Assyakirin and I am oh sooo tired. But I can't go to bed yet for I have to view the lesson plan for the class that I will be reliefing, later on in the morning. I need to prepare my teaching notes, and my teaching aids. The ustazah in charge have already emailed me the powerpoint slides and all the other visual aids that'll be needed for the lesson curriculum today. All that I'll have to do now, is to think about how I want to deliver the lesson to the children, in an interactive manner. To keep me through the night, I'll keep doing my zikir to keep me alive.

I'll be taking the Tweens aLIVE class instead, this time around. It'll be a class of 8 year old primary school students. Theme to cover for the day: Venture to Habsyah. Interesting! I like to teach Sirah. And then I'll have to cover a little bit of Tafseer for Surah At-Tin. InsyaAllah, all will go well! I'll be really busy for the whole of this month because I'll be reliefing for 3 weeks straight, alhamdulilah.

My teaching schedule for the month:

29 October - Tweens aLIVE (1): 7.30 a.m - 10.30 a.m
5 November - Kids aLIVE (4) : 7.30 a.m - 10.30 a.m &  Iqra' Session: 10.45 a.m - 11.45 a.m
12 November : Kids aLIVE (4) : 7.30 - 10.30 a.m & Iqra' Session: 10.45 a.m - 11.45 a.m

It's gonna be tiring, but I've got to stay strong, if it is success that I want to achieve.
