Laa Tahzan

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
Assalamualaikum

Title: Think bright.

Spare some 11 minutes, put your headphones on, close your eyes, and listen hard to this preach. It touched my soul, and I hope it would touch yours too. Oh and you might want to get yourself a tissue too because this could bring you to tears. It did bring tears to my eyes, but I'm not so sure for you though. But anyway, you got to listen to this preach first, before you may continue reading this post. The preach comes with a background music by the way. Serenade by Pachelbel. So, it is not that at all dry and boring. Hello? What are you waiting for? Go click on the play button now! =)

*11 minutes later*

How was the preach? Inspirational eh? Did you like it? Well I hope you did. When was the last time, we give our thanks to Allah for all the good things that we have been blessed with? When was the last time, we turn to Allah for help, when our world comes crumbling down? When was that laaaaaaaaast time? More often than not, we tend to turn to Allah only when we are at our wits end. Don't we? When our world comes crumbling down, we go oh-my-god. But when we are at the top of the world, we don't go oh-my-god. We go oh-i-don't-really-need-god-at-this-exact-moment.

I'm not an angel because I do find myself to behave in such an arrogant manner at times too. I mean, arrogant towards Allah. I am very nice with people okay! Ahah, which brings me to my next point. We can be nice, soft, warm and gentle with people. But yet at the same time, we tend to leave Allah out of our lives, as though He never existed. Stop, think and ponder about it. Astaghfirullah hal 'azim. May Allah forgive me. May He forgive us all and show us the right path. InsyaAllah, ameen.

Remember Allah in times of ease, and He will recognize you in times of distress. What hit you could not have missed you, and what missed you could not have hit you. Remember that victory comes with patience, relief comes with affliction and ease comes with hardship”.[A hadith narrated by Abu ‘Abbas ‘Abdullah]
