In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
Assalamualaikum
Title: Ukhuwwah Fillah
I had a great time "berjalan raya-ing" with my fabtas sisters, on last Saturday night. I found fabtas through facebook and since then, I came to know of many, many beautiful sisters from all over Singapore and as a result of that, I made many, many, new friends! I would say that I am still a little shy around them because, I am the youngest in the group.
There is so much that I could learn from them. If I were to compare myself with them, in terms of eeman and taqwa, I am most probably at the lowest. I see them as my role-models and I know that I could always count on them for advices, encouragement, and moral support.
But despite the age differences, what we have in common, is what that brings us all together as one. And that is; eeman & taqwa. I'm not trying to put them in a status higher than the Prophet s.a.w, or Allah s.w.t even, but I'm just reminded of a hadith that is narrated by Abu Hurayrah that goes something like: The Prophet s.a.w said: A man is most likely to follow the religion of his friend; so look whom you befriend.
When they talk, they talk modestly. When they walk, they walk gracefully. And if I were to list down the many things that made me in awe of their faith, I probably will never be able to stop writing. I am grateful, and thankful to Allah for bringing them into my lives. I could only pray that one day, I will be blessed with an eeman, that is as strong as these sisters. May Allah bless our ukhuwwah, and till we meet again bi idznillah. Ya akhawats, ana uhibbuki fillah!
