It's a miracle

Title: It's a miracle!

My late grandma used to tell me that, babies are surrounded with many many many angels around them. So we must handle them with care, and love them with all our heart. The Prophet Muhammad s.a.w himself, had loved children very much, and cats too! Okay, that sounds a little off-topic.

See that adorable little baby girl in my arms in that picture above? Meet baby Nurul! My cousin's new born baby girl. She's horribly cute and I just can't stop going all aww each time she carves out a smile for me, when I do that peek-a-boo game with her.

& then there was one part, when she almost wanted to cry, for no apparent reason. I panicked, and immediately handed her over to my dad. And then an amazing thing happened. Instead of telling the baby to hush down with all those common regular ssshhh and all that, my dad recited the ta'awudz, did the basmalah and recited Ayatul Kursi. Baby Nurul almost immediately stopped crying and fidgeting. She listened really hard to the recitation and then guess what she did next? She turned to face my dad, and chuckled out loud.

MasyaAllah, that was amazing. I might be over-intepreting things but I think I had just witnessed another miracle of the Quran. Subhanallah, subhanallah, subhanallah. (':
