Title: Surviving Ramadhan
I like being hungry, and going thirsty because it helps me feel light and I personally find that fasting helps me to constantly think about Allah and it makes me feel closer to Him. Some of my non-muslim friends thought that fasting would leave most of us feeling weak, moody and limp.We may be physically weak, but spiritually, I feel awakened. It helps me feel more calm. I speak less, and I am not led by my own emotions.
We're already into the fourth day of Ramadhan and I am enjoying my Ramadhan very much. I am really going to treat this Ramadhan as though it is gonna be my last and I have come up with a list of things that I am going to accomplish during this Ramadhan:
1) Khatam Al-Quran.
- 5 pages after every each fardhu prayers.
2) Finish memorising Surah Yaasin.
- 8 more lines to go.
3) Do lots of Solat Taubat.
- Going to start on this soon.
4) Do 20 rakaats terawih at Assyakirin on every weekends.
- First set of terawih; done!
Keep on going Susu! Have a blessed Ramadhan everybody!
