Title: A Lovely Surprise
I can now heave a sigh of relief because I am finally done with my play-kit assignment project. My team and I have been working on this play-kit assignment for close to 2 months and honestly, after today's presentation, I don't know if our hard work had paid off.
The report writing really gave me one heck of a headache because we had to do two separate reports. One in Microsoft Word document, and another in Microsoft Powerpoint. But we eventually managed to get the whole thing done though. All praises be to Allah for that.
And so today, we had to do a presentation about our play-kit assignment, to the whole class. I've never had problems whenever it comes to presenting, but today...today just doesn't seem to feel right. I was a speaking a little too fast. Way too fast in fact. That is the problem with me! I tend to rush through my words each time I am nervous. So I usally would end up speaking like a bullet train instead. And that earned me the title; Miss Bullet Train. Susu's now well-known in class for that. What luck.
But what that got me really happy today was when I was greeted with a huge, huge surprise when I got back home from school. My aunt came over to our house for a visit and she surprised me with 2 lovely pieces of shawls. And they are soooo lovely, that I just can't thank her enough. A lovely piece of shawl, from a lovely aunty. Alhamdulilah, this must've been a rezqi from The Almighty, after a hectic day of school. Aren't they lovely? (:
Last week, that very same aunt of mine was talking to me about how she have been wanting to recite the Al-Quran. It has been years since she's last recited the Quran and now, she have forgotten how to recite it completely. She asked me, "Su, will you teach me how to recite the Quran?" & upon hearing that, my heart just melted because I have been waiting so long for this moment. Allah has finally opened her heart to learn the Quran all over again. And before she left our house, she looked me in the eyes and said: "I think, I want to start wearing the Hijab."
Alhamdulilah. (:
Alhamdulilah. (:
