Assalamualaikum
Title: I am now officially a student at Pergas!
Alhamdulilah! I am now officially a student at Pergas. You don't know how happy I was when my parents showed me the official letter from Pergas, indicating that my application had been accepted. I jumped around the dining room in glee, with that letter in hand. Oh, thank you Allah.
2 months ago, somewhere in late November 2010, I remember how, my whole family came down to Assyakirin Mosque to hear the taklimat for Sijil Pengajian Islam. It was heartbreaking to see that only 5 souls turned up for the taklimat, which shows to go that SPI, wasn't well-received. Of course, how could they possibly open up a class, with only 5 miserable students? Ever since then, I kept on praying in hope that more people would sign up for SPI, that will be held at Assyakirin. And true enough, my prayers were answered.
It was such a relief. Only He knows how much I've been wanting this. So, in that letter it stated that there will be an Orientation held at Masjid Sultan on Sunday, 2 January 2010. An itinerary of the Orientation was also attached with that letter.

8.45am - Recitation of Al-Quran by Akh Muhd Basyir
8.50am - Welcome Speech by Head of Committee
9.30am - Ice Breaker Game, Part 1
10.30am - Light refreshments
11.00am - Takzirah by Ustaz Mohd Hasbi, President of Pergas
11.30am - Ice Breaker Game, Part 2
12.30pm - Lunch, Zohor.
1.30pm - Group Discussion
3.30pm - Motivational Preach by Ustaz Mohd Zaky ( C.I.N.T.A )
4.00pm - Qasidah Performance by Madeehul Mustafa
4.30pm - Light refreshments, selling of books.
5.00pm - End of event
